Elon Musk tried to sleep less than 6 hours, but he realized that sleeping less than 6 hours was making him less productive and less healthy

When Elon Musk was working on becoming the wealthiest guy on earth, he didn’t have a specific place to sleep. He was mostly sleeping in the office to work more and save time.

In an interview he gave a few months ago, he said that he tried to sleep less than 6 hours, but that made him less productive, and his brain pain level increased.

On the other side, this was the reason he became the wealthiest person on earth.

He continuously worked to be more successful.

In 2018, he was working 120 hours a week to keep the production of the Tesla Model 3 on track. He even said that he spent his birthday at the Tesla offices.

Bill Gates also says that he used to stay up all night to meet deadlines at Microsoft.

He was even competing with his Microsoft colleagues about who sleeps for the least amount of time. Later on, he started to sleep 7–8 hours to maintain his brain health.

According to the poll made by fortune.com for 500 CEOs, the average sleep time is 6.3 hours.
